openzootopia asked: hey. your blog is a great inspiration for me. You are creating so much stuff. It's awesome!! therefore I wanted to ask: How do you organize your day or your week. Or do you organize it somehow? Do you plan when you do things or do you just do them when you feel like it? I have a pretty hard time getting all my passions together (like playing guitar, singing, wanting to write, illustrating, wanting to skate). So I almost don't get anything done and if then at a real rush in the mi

its funny you are asking this cause yesterday i turned down a ride to the beach cause i’ve been hanging out and chillin every day even thou i have so much to do and im trying to be responsible but i ended up just sitting on the internet and not doing any of the things i needed to get done. i find it pretty hard to get motivated and stay focused and i also get anxiety around so much stuff that i find doing some things near impossible. i try to be organised by writing lists. i currently hav a small organiser where i mostly write events or specific plans or deadlines for things in, i hav a notebook where i write lists for everyday and include all the tiny things like call so and so or buy toliet paper or even to just get out of bed or dance in my room- that way i am constantly crossing things off the list and setting really short term goals which helps with my anxiety alot, it also means i can remember all the little things i should be doing in order to make a bigger project or my week run smoother and so i dont get too overwhelmed. i also draw up a planner for my wall of roughly a 1-2 month period. i have a box the size of my fist for each day and i write in commitments for that day and the fun things that are on and other things i need to get done. its good cause i can visualize when im free and when im busy and also how much time i have before certain things need to get done or when is a good time to aim to have something done by. having said all that i dont always get the stuff done and sometimes ill be days behind on my to do list but also sometimes ill get something done a few days early so i do try to be super organised but it doesnt always mean that i am. if you think making lists and timetables works for you you could try to set 4 hours aside say every tuesday and thursday afternoon for example for project so you have to time to do those things. cause even though those things are fun and what you want to be doing it can be hard to get the motivation to just do it.
